Personal Body Hub
Simplifying communication in critical scenarios
Soldiers on the ground rely on a wide range of equipment and technology to operate effectively, from weapons and other tactical gear to navigation and communication devices. In order be suitable for combat, this equipment needs to meet stringent demands – because jeopardizing the mission objective with a loadout that is too heavy or bulky is not an option. Therefore, everything a soldier carries needs to follow critical design constraints: Size, weight, and power (SWaP). This allows soldiers to focus on the task at hand without distractions.
Small but powerful - The open infantry system by blackned
TACTICAL CORE, developed by German company blackned, is a supplier-independent framework with an open architecture that enables the fast and secure exchange of information up to the brigade level. With a strong focus on mobility, TACTICAL CORE offers an open infantry system with modular equipment that increases performance and reduces weight to ensure operational capability in all conditions.
The system enables centralized control of all voice, video and data transmissions via a smartphone, allowing soldiers to concentrate fully on their mission. The Personal Radio Adapter (PRA) enables the use of non-IP-based radios for voice and data communication without placing an additional burden on the soldier.
The decentralized architecture ensures that critical services remain available even if the connection is lost. The Personal Body Hub (PBH) acts as a central communication point and simplifies the operation of the equipment reducing the complexity of operating multiple radios during in an already complicated operating environment.
